diiiiii after my studies i want to settle abroad but my parents are not willing to let me go as i am the only son in the family

there concern is also ok but whatto do i am in a dilemma

feeling helpless is a weak point and that doesnt suits people like you

Vish.. make a list of all the pros and cons of you going away.what is good about it..what is bad and so on... and see if you are making a right decision. It all depends on why you moving and for how long. If your parents can go too, they might not object then.

I would not want my only son to go away from me for ever... and nor will you. So it is understood why they feeling the way they do.

Remember parents will never want anything BAD for their child..and you being the only child makes it worse. Think about it and I hope you are able to make the right choice.

No di, it does matters.... a good coll. does matter for engineering... NIT, Jaipur is a gr8 coll. bt i dnt kno y my mom is lyk this... :( she even didnt allowd me 2 go to NOIDA...
But at last after so much of crying nd all tht, my dad let me hav admissions in DIT, Deradun (coz my hometown is dehradun)....
well again m nt so sure abt this coz mum is a lil bit upset due 2 this, sh wants me to take admission in Punjab only, nd if happens near ludhiana, bt there isnt such good coll. here.
I really dnt kno wht to do, or wht to say to her..? i dnt want to upset here nd nor i want to leave the opportunity of good coll..? m sooo confuussee.. plz help me... :(

ya sab kuch kiya, wese unhone khud hi addmission karvai thi, actually the real matter with her is tht, she says she will feel lonely after i will went 2 a coll. far away, and said tht, after my coll. i will go out for higher studies(as it is sure) nd thn job(tht too will b far) nd thn marriage all tht.... she said... so she says tht at this tym whn it is tht i really need her nd she needs me i shd opt a coll. wch is near so tht she may meet me oftenly.... nd sh thinks tht coll. doesnt matter too much as i will nt do job after Bachelor nd will go for masters degree.
So she wz jst a lil thinky abt all this.
And nw i too dnt want to hurt her so i think i shd go 4 a good coll. near by only. nd she is ryt, m sure agar unse door gayi to mei bigad jaungi, as m nt enough mature, nd also jab tak mummy ji sath nai hote mei padh bhi nai pati, isiliye i will nt go far, wese bhi dil se to mei yehi chahti thi ki mom hamesha mere hi sath rahei, she is the only lady who hold a strong position in my life... I really love her. Now i will b with her only aur unki goddi mei soungi roz.... :) Love u meri jaann......
